We protest spending tax dollars (public funds) to further private profits, without the proper input of the electorate, using democratic process. This hasn't happened yet with GC--citizens weren't heard by City Council last summer. Using democratic process, gain a voice for Cape residents on what kind of development will best benefit residents, and thus earn publicly funded grants, TIFs, DIFs, and gifts of land.
